I love Julia Roberts. She is what you call bankable talent. I think the producers or the people putting up the money look at talent like here and crunch numbers based on the box office proceeds for past films and their popularity and some up with a minimum amount of money to be made if they get her to play a certain role in the film. I think that is why Duplicity has done well and i think Julia ads a value for the patron. Julia is the reason it works at all but it is not a great movie and the end left me flat. it comes off shallow with drab.
