Creating Lower Third Graphics in FC4HD

Would like to create lower third graphics in FC4 any suggestions

Specifically what sort of graphic? You place it in your Timeline, re-size it, move it to where you want it in the frame. But I don't think I'm fully understanding the question.

A lower third graphic to be placed on a video, you know when watch television and each station has its own station identification shown on the screen.

Most lower thirds graphics are created in a separate program, then imported. You can always use the Title tool in FCP to create a simple lower third, or you can use Adobe's Photoshop or a similar graphics program to create one. There are many ways to do it. so try some and see what works best for you.
