Some exciting news to share with you all! We are fully funded! AND we will be featured on Kickstarter as their Project of the Day for the film category this Sunday!!!

Some info on us:
Independent production company, Radical Rhinoceros Pictures, presents CRAM – a dark fairy tale about academia inspired by the nightmares we’ve all had about school. We all do what we gotta do to pass – except Marc. Desperate to finish his final final paper, he struggles to cram all night in the library. But the library has other plans for him….

In the medium-length film, Marc, (John DiMino), is tormented by the insidious Master of the Books (Brandon E. Burton), as he scrambles to escape the trap of higher education. Along his journey, Marc unmasks the ugly face of academia underneath all that pomp and circumstance to reveal vampiric institutions that don’t need to hunt in secret, because students have been seduced into paying for the privilege of being consumed!

Up and coming Queens filmmaker, Abie Sidell is the director of the award-winning short film “Some of Her Parts”. Abie Sidell’s “CRAM'' fights to make a name for itself in the vein of visually striking genre films with social subtext, like Guillermo Del Toro’s “Pan’s Labyrinth” and Jordan Peele’s “Get Out”. “CRAM” brutally interrogates why the experience of school is universally suffused with fear. Whether audience members struggled in school or not, “CRAM” is a shocking exorcism for everyone’s academic demons.

“We made CRAM in the same spirit as so many inspiring indie filmmakers with day jobs; on nights and weekends. We made most of it during the pandemic. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but making CRAM has also been the most creatively fulfilling experience of my life. It’s the purpose that sustained me through this brutal time. Even more, it was a reason for people to come together when so many artists were struggling for work. Together we all made one hell of a movie. If you struggled as a student or care about somebody who has, if you’re concerned with the terrible costs of higher education – then CRAM has something to say to you.” - Abie Sidell, Director

Radical Rhinoceros Pictures is an independent, Queen based film company dedicated to telling imaginative stories that provoke conversation and challenge the status quo.
