This movie did not live up to my expectations. My anticipation maybe have been over hyped. I was hoping for a moving experience and some kind of universal truth but it just didn't live up to what i was thinking. It could have been the mentally challenged fellows making cattle calls and noise during the show but i think it was more the story line and the structure of the sets for me. Why do we have so many movies with monsters or bad guys chasing people in caves and tunnels underground! And, a couple of scenes went of the scale on my sci fi believability criteria measures. It is one thing to be advanced but recreating from molecules seems to be in the God's special skills field of expertise for me. I did like the monsters. They were better than the monster in "super 8". The cast including Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde and Sam Rockwell were absolutely great. With all its short comings and character defects I still think this is an entertaining movie and worth seeing.

Cowboys&Cowboys&Indians&Aliens

It turned out to be more of a character-driven film and less of an alien-encounter film. The cowboys (and indians) appeared to be overcoming themselves more than the aliens.
It was good to see Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig together. Sam Rockwell stole some scenes as well, unsurprisingly.
Entertaining, yes, but I think and hope that Harrison Ford has even better stuff ahead, and Sam Rockwell also. Craig I'm not worried about.
