Hey there film makers.
So i am a composer who came from the world of indie rock. I have ten albums out, and have tons of shows and postive reviews under my belt.
However, my latest adventure has been creating sound-beds and digital orchestra cues in hopes to start working with filmmakers, animators, and people involved in TV, Commercials, Video games... you name it.
Anyhow, it's a brand new direction for sure.
The most important thing is for me to learn is what filmmakers really want for sounds. What Styles? what directions?
... I feel like i could pretty much write any style, but i have been doing a lot of the sweeping orchestral cues as of late... mostly because its a blast and so different from the rock. I have also been writing simple grooves and sound beds.
If anyone wants to check out my stuff and share any opinions that would be way cool. I am just trying to meet people and learn as much as i can.
