Canon EOS Rebel 500D/T1i (Review Wanted)

Hey,
As the title suggests has anyone had any experience with this lower budget camera? I'd prefer reviews from members rather than google searches, as those reviewers only use it "at-a-glance" more than anything else.
Pro/Cons. Battery life, Adaptability anything.

Yup! Managed to snipe one on ebay for £186. Camera, all discs and leads, 3 batteries and the 18-55mm kit

I've worked with a 500D and all I can say is that it's a great one!
