Burnt Orange

How was your experience working on Dot with Burnt Orange? Do you feel that you had enough time to help answer any questions that the apprentices and interns had? I am interning in camera on their next film in April and they are shooting on 35mm (as rumor has it) and that is a format that I want to learn more about. Do you feel it will be a good environment for me to learn from the DP. Thanks and just want to say that I loved your book 3rd edition. Read it cover to cover.

You should talk to Jeremy Rogers and ask him if he got anything out of working for me as an assistant on "Dot".

Sort of depends on the DP and what your job is on the set, in terms of interaction. The next Burnt Orange film will probably be Union, so I'm not sure if a student would get to be 2nd AC, for example, but be more of a camera intern, which is still good for learning how a set works.
