Black and white films EI

Kodak sets different EI for their B&W motion picture films in Tungsten and Daylight.

For example: 5231 is 'EI 64T, 80D'

Why is that?

This is because B&W film is more sensitive to blue light (daylight). Thus they tell you this so you compensate with your exposure.

You will notice that almost always your sky's (if they are blue) will burn out completely. To counter this, you can use a red filter (extreme) or yellow filter (less extreme).
