best settings for Canon GL2 camcorder?

I'm wondering what the best camera settings would be for a Canon GL2 camcorder, if I want the video in full screen. I've been noticing lately that my video on DVD looks rather pixelated/fuzzy/grainy.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make my video more clear?

Good lighting, good focus, good depth of field, there's no quick, canned, answer. You just need to learn camera techniques. There's a DVD out that's really great called, "Camera Command".
