Have you created the next great Short Film? Do you have a distinctive filmmaking voice and vision? Did you just wrap on an awesome action/adventure, comedy, documentary, drama, experimental, horror, sci-fi, or thriller?

The AT&T Entertainment Project is an open competition seeking imaginative, undiscovered short films from emerging indie filmmakers and students. The competition seeks to identify talented storytellers from across the U.S. who want their voices heard. We’re seeking compelling, groundbreaking, and unique Short Films of any genre that are under 10 minutes long.
Filmmakers will have a chance to compete for up to $48K in cash prizes, meet with AT&T execs, and take home the AT&T Entertainment Project trophy. Even more exciting, the winning shorts will also have the opportunity to air on AT&T’s AUDIENCE® Network on DIRECTV.

The finalists’ shorts will be showcased during the AT&T SHAPE, tech and entertainment expo on July 14-15, 2017, held at Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles.

Submissions will be accepted through May 26, 2017, or until 1,000 entries have been submitted – whichever comes first.

The Awards
The top three finalists in the Emerging Filmmaker category will be flown to Los Angeles to showcase their work and compete in the AT&T Entertainment Project finals on July 14, 2017 at Warner Bros. Studios. Airfare and accommodations will be provided for one representative from each team. A total prize pool of $48,000 will be awarded across all prize categories.
