Anybody know anything about this light?

My sister picked this up at an estate sale. (she's a full time E-bayer) She asked if I wanted it, I said sure why not.

The bulb is 1000w. If you grab the knob where the power cord is, you can slide it in and out. I assume it is for "shaping" the light. Anybody know what this light is for and who it is made by?

I can't say for certain but what I do know for sure is that its use is industrial. Its a work light. You can tell by the fact that the axis of rotation is up, rather than up and down for film/video lights

I wouldn't use that light that you put your hand on. Those 1k lights get extremely hot, and when the oils from hands get on these lights they are liable to explode...
