TKH Productions, an award-winning independent motion picture production company based in Hollywood, CA, is sponsoring the Red Eye Writing Contest. The contest is a nationwide short screenwriting contest, held for the purpose of discovering talented screenwriters, and we wanted to invite you to apply.

Prizes include a trip for the winner and a guest to visit Hollywood and watch the production of his or her screenplay on a studio lot, cash and the option to submit feature-length scripts for consideration. A company representative also could contact you, if we’re interested in further discussing your material.

TKH staff or trained readers will evaluate all scripts, and our judges include screenwriters Nancy Chan and Ionnis Skiotes and New York Times bestselling author, Dary Matera. Some of our supporters include RED camera, Bright Life Music and the Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund.

To view contest information or enter visit: www.redeyewritingcontest.com. If you’d like more information about our company, you can visit our website: www.tkhproductions.com.

Submissions will be accepted from September 24th, 2012 through December 31st 2012. The early bird submission fee is $29, the regular submission fee is $35 and the late entry fee is $45. Fees go towards the cost of running the contest, such as paying readers and judges, as well as making a donation to the Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund.

Good luck to all entrants!
