$15,000 Robert Half International: Interview Story & Video Project on Tongal.com

Tongal and Robert Half International (RHI) are asking you to create a humorous thirty to sixty (30-60) second video about job interview mistakes, a cringe-worthy meeting with a prospective employer, or an interview blunder that Robert Half can use to attract future job seekers, help them avoid such mistakes and, ultimately, assist them in finding jobs.

This project will be worth a total of $15,000 and consist of two phases, so there’s a place for everyone to contribute, regardless of your skill set.

PHASE 1: STORY – In 500 characters or less, tell us what job seekers shouldn’t do or say in an employment interview, describe an interview that’s gone wrong, or tell us a funny story about a real or imagined interview blunder.
The deadline to submit stories is November 29th.

PHASE 2: VIDEO – Select one of the five winning stories from Phase 1 and make a 30-60 second video based on it. The videos should have a personal touch and be relatable. Also, if you want to adapt the story or make changes, feel free to do so. It’s best to think of the story as the central thesis that you should build your video around. The deadline to submit videos is January 4th.

The five best videos chosen by RHI will receive cash awards with a 1st place prize of $7,500. For more information, visit: http://tongal.com/project/RH

Specs: $15,000 prize pool, 30 – 90 second video, 13+ years old, deadline: January 4th, 2010
