    Cannon XA10 or Sony HVR-HD1000U MiniDV ?

    I am debating on both of these. I can only get one. Can someone give me the pros and cons of both I like the Sony because of it has access to Mini DV and I can prob play my old MiniDV Tapes and convert it to DVD with my DVD Recorder.
