Wow did you guys see the quality of the video on new NIKON D90 camera? it's only 720p but thats still impressive... 35mm lenses no adapters and great DOF...kit costs only 1299, thats pretty cheap.. I can only imagine what will come out next year when the RED SCARLET comes out...

I agree, Im waiting for Scarlet as well, but it will take a while... wont be released till 2009 and then the issue of getting it since they will probably sell out like crazy so good luck getting it... Also 3000 is just for the camera itself with all needed accessories it will probably be more...

i never went to film school, i got a BS in business. If i had a lot of money i would go to film school and learn all the details from experienced teachers plus get work with some nice equipment. You say that only 10% of the students make it after film schools , well probably the other 90% is not...

Hi Guys , I`m planning on shooting something that will be marketed to European viewers so they will be watching it in PAL.. question is, if I shoot in NTSC 24p how will i transfer that to PAL 25p? is it better to just forget shooting in NTSC and rent out PAL cameras and shoot in 25p? Thanks guys..
