It is very important to keep the equipment dry. I made this mistake once. I was out in the rain, the camera was in my bag. My camera was not waterproof.
I don't know because I am used to seeing these "goofy" commercials. I think a lot of people are used to them and for this reason, a lot of people are trying to create more commercials with the same pattern.
I read a few posts about this a few weeks ago. Some actors are preparing prior to that role and they get so much in the skin of the character that it can be difficult for them to get back into their own skin once the production is over. Especially if you act a character like "the Joker".

I don't think you should limit your creativity to a template but you can find plenty online. Just write down how a few ideas on how you wish to see the final result of your movie. The characters that are involved, the scenes that you will film and so on.
The "Unit Stills Photographer" is the person who snaps pictures that are used on social media or for press releases about the upcomming movie or TV Show.
I don't know if it is an easy idea or not but I love winter and I have this idea to create a short film about a winter mythical creature. More like a small winter legend with a twist somewhere in the plot. I am still working on the script
