I saw many youtube videos usin beach stock footage. The videos were not about travel, they were mostly about meditation or motivational talks.

This happens to most people. Don't get discouraged and try again. Try some more. You just need one of your photos or one of your videos to get discovered and you will have that passive income. Then you have to work for the second one. It is difficult until you get the first one.

It might not be a popular opinion but in my free days, I am Larry. I just want to lay down like a plant for the whole time and watch a TV show or movie. I even order take-away food from fast-foods that are literally 2 mins away from me. Sometimes, you just don't feel like going out.

Never rely on "auto" settings, because you are not in control of what you film. You need to do tests with your camera until you get it right, especially if you have little to no experience. You literally learn by doing.
