This image is intriguing in that it forces the viewer to tell the story from their own imagination. I’d be curious what was the story you were capturing?
This is a beautifully rendered image. The FE is a great camera under the eye of a master photographer. Always remember we express the image. The “stuff” just supports our vision.
It’s one thing to respond to what’s before you and capture that image. It’s another to so beautifully express not only your emotional response to that moment and the image but to recall the technical details that allowed you to express that moment. Ansel would be proud.
It’s wonderful that you’ve created a full palette of forms of expression. Vancouver is a wonderful city for filmmakers. I personally believe that the best story tellers start as documentarians because you must find the story as it unfurls before you. The best way to break jn....there is no best...
What I love about photography is the need to capture a moment in time. It’s often emotional. What is left is your response to that moment. No further explanation is necessary.
