Does anyone else have this problem of capturing from tape in FCP and the two audio clips and the video are not linked together? That is, if you drag them to the timeline at first they are synched and all but if you move just one of the audio tracks it moves independently and not with the other...

I believe they are just shooting it with a faster shutter speed to get the action to look really detailed the way it does. To cheat you could turn up the sharpness with a filter in FCP but I dunno how effective it will be as opposed to shooting it like that originally
