I would suggest checking out the Panasonic DVC30, i was recently in the same argument with myself between the gl2, and the vx2100, the VX went over my budget (2k) and as much as i tried to stretch it, i found the DVC30 and from what i found, it works better in lower light conditions than the...

Hm. so currently the sony is priced at 2200 at BH and the DVC at 1800. What else merits the extra 400 dollars for the vx than the dvc besides the lowlight capablities? im currently debating these two. unfortunetly my budget isnt in dvx range =(
