    wohoo!. good for you tim. since you're using adobe premier pro (and i surely hope it's a legit copy), keep on checking for updates. adobe has a lot of plugins and stuff that you wouldn't want to miss out on. never stop learning ^_^

    LOL... the thrills of being in the film industry ^o^ personally, i started shooting mundane short film using a canon GL1... it's not too high-end, but it does the trick... at least for me. you might want to check on that. if you could afford a 3CCD camcorder, go for it. if you can do better...

    Mac VS Pc

    yup, it's mostly a matter of taste. but pound for pound, i find macs are a lot faster for video. just my two cents worth. but still, i use PC 90% of the time

    How I should Start off

    hardware over software. invest most of your moolahs on great film/digital videocameras, lights, mics, etc. think about post-editing software later (that's why it has the prefix 'post' - because it comes later). and as any good film maker will tell you - never stop learning. if you keep that...

    Film school--is it worth it?

    there's a lot of stuff that books can never teach you - as opposed to things a vet can teach you. filmschools are great - if you know which one to choose. maty, if ever you are in asia, check out http://filmschool.ph. they got mentors/faculty from hollywood. hope this helps ^_^
