My name is Benajmin Hersh. I am composer of media and contemporary classical music. I have a degree. in Music, a Masters and a music production diploma.




My first instrument was Classical piano and voice. I have performed in piano recitals at Venues in London. Since I was young, I was always fascinated with the way music can conjure up emotion in film.




I studied harmony and counterpoint with the late Professor Alan Hazeldene from Guildhall Music School and Paino with Professor Ardakov from Trinity college of Music. I also studied singing and voice technique.





I have written compositions for adverts and student film. My hope is to expand my compositions into more films and documentaries.




I teach and coach young people as a way of helping them through music. I use my experiences as a positive outlook as I use what I went through in my music and help others using music as a healing tool. I run an outreach amateur Choir for young and older people alike. Our Choir includes people from all different backgrounds and stages. Some have studied music, while others are beginners.





I write different styles and am always expanding my knowledge in learning other instruments such as violin, recorder, guitar etc. Music is a universal language, and I am interested in all different styles and genres with focus on music for media.
