Thanks tha actually helped. Except that the camera wasnt on there which suprised me cause its fairly popular. But thanks the generic deck solved it and it instantly found it.

I'm having trouble with the Avid aknowledging that I have my Canon GL-2 hooked up, I even went out and bought a new capture card that is Avid approved but it still won't even say that there is a deck hooked up. Any suggestions? :( Ryan Baylis
